Exhibitor briefing

For the first time, a truck checkpoint will be set up for EuroTier / EnergyDecentral with corresponding changes to the vehicle admission.

• The truck checkpoint will be manned daily from 07:00 to 20:00.
• During the set-up and dismantling phase, all trucks >7.5t will first drive to the truck checkpoint in car park West45 (Hannover - Europaallee). Exception: animal transporters!
• The drivers register at the truck checkpoint. Once all details regarding the loading process have been clarified, the drivers will receive an entry ticket there and may enter the exhibition centre.

Please note:

• A truck parking area / truck assembly area has been set up in car park Ost13 (Hannover - Weltausstellungsallee) for trucks and lorries that are to be parked on site during the trade fair.
• Parking tickets can be purchased on site or ordered via the exhibitor service portal.
• During the set-up and dismantling phase, parking at the truck collection point is free of charge, as it is on Friday (15.11.24) from 12.00 noon.
• On Friday (15.11.24), the exhibition grounds are expected to be open to all vehicles from 21:00 to 24:00. After that, the site will be closed for 7 hours, i.e. no vehicles will be allowed to enter, but all vehicles in the exhibition centre will be allowed to leave.
• On Saturday (16.11.24) from 07.00 a.m. it will be possible to enter the exhibition grounds again in the same way as during the set-up phase.
• From Saturday (16.11.24) up to and including Tuesday (19.11.24), trucks >7.5t will drive to the truck checkpoint first. From Wednesday (20.11.24) all dismantling vehicles will drive directly to the gates.

• For Sunday (10.11.24) and Sunday (17.11.2024), an exemption from the Sunday driving ban applies for all journeys from the truck parking areas points to the exhibition grounds and vice versa. For all other journeys, individual permits must be applied for from the relevant road traffic authorities.

Legal requirements on advertising of veterinary medicinal products at EuroTier based on Regulation (EU) 2019/6, i.e. articles 34, 119 - 121

• The advertising of veterinary medicinal products that are subject to veterinary prescription to the general public is prohibited.
• Only veterinary medicinal products that are authorised or registered in an EU Member State may be advertised in that EU Member State.
• The advertising shall comply with the characteristics of the product, presenting it objectively without exaggerating its properties.

Veterinary medicinal products in the sense of the Regulation are substances or combination of substances which

• are presented as having properties for treating or preventing disease;
• have the purpose to restore, correct or modify physiological functions;
• have the purpose to be used in animals to make a medical diagnosis;
• are used for euthanasia of animals; 

Advertising of veterinary medicinal products in the sense of the Regulation means any form of representation in connection with veterinary medicinal products.
 
This includes displaying pharmaceutical/technical information, the product name, names of active ingredients, the product itself or (empty) packaging of the product, illustrations/photos of the product or the packaging, making product information (e.g. catalogues etc.) available in paper or electronically.
 
Veterinary products subject to veterinary prescription are all products for food-producing animals, antimicrobial products, hormones, vaccines, injectables, narcotics/psychotropics, products for anaesthesia or euthanasia, etc.
 
Compliance with these regulations will be monitored and enforced by the competent authority. Incompliant advertising materials will be removed and/or confiscated.

What kind of advertising is permitted at EuroTier?

• General information on the company and on targeted diseases;
• Advertising medicinal products not subject to veterinary prescription and licensed in the EU;
• Advertising medicinal products subject to veterinary prescription restricted to veterinary
  health professionals prohibiting sight and access to the general public.

Lower Saxony State Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety (LAVES) is the competent authority enforcing the Regulation (EU) 2019/6 at EuroTier.
