Local agricultural products with a traceable origin and freshness are important reasons for many people to buy "directly from the farmer". The in-house processing and direct sales are therefore becoming attractive for more and more agricultural companies, according to recent surveys of the DLG. In Germany alone, around 30,000 farmers are currently practicing direct marketing in varying degrees of intensity and professionalism - right through to the perfectly organized farm shop - and the trend doesn not seem to stop.
A focus area "direct marketing" should serve the visitors as the first starting point. The offer of the exhibitors is supplemented within the framework of our attractive technical programme, e.g. through discussion forums on topics such as marketing strategies, but also hygiene regulations or the Food Information Regulation (LMIV).
