Data protection and data security for our partners/members as well as for consumers is a high priority for DLG Service GmbH The protection of your personal information is very important to us and a matter we take extremely seriously.

1. Anonymised data collection and processing on this website

2. Pseudonymous data collection and processing on this website

If you are a registered user of our website, we will continue to collect and save the aforementioned information under a pseudonym whenever you access our web pages. This information is allocated exclusively to an internal tag. It is not associated with your name or any other means of identification, so the information cannot be traced back to you personally. The purpose of collecting and processing data under a pseudonym is to create user profiles, which enable us to customise our services and advertisements to your needs.This website uses software provided by etracker GmbH (www.etracker.de) to collect and store data for the purposes of marketing and optimisation. Data collected by etracker software without the specific consent of the user is not used to identify visitors to this website personally and is not brought together with information relating to the bearer of the pseudonym. DLG Service GmbH works with Aumago GmbH ('Aumago'), a Berlin-based agency that specialises in targeted marketing. Aumago uses cookies, text files that are saved on your computer by your internet browser and that collect/contain anonymised user data for the purposes of online behavioural targeting (OBA). This data includes the type of websites visited, the categories and/or product pages that were clicked on, demographic information (age, gender, etc.) and/or the browser and device used to access the internet. No personal data is collected. The usage data cannot therefore be connected to the user's real identity. The cookies in this case are either Aumago cookies or cookies of other service providers, such as krux digital Inc., which Aumago makes use of. Users have the option at any time of deleting the cookies directly from their browser, changing their cookie preferences at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ or turning off Aumago cookies at http://www.krux.com/krux_privacy/consumer_choice/. On the basis of this anonymised analysis of users' browsing behaviour, Aumago segments data stored in the cookies by industry, e.g. browser 1 on website X is given the 'Industry A' cookie. This allows online advertising to be targeted more effectively to people's interests.

Aumago will use this anonymised data to make the online advertising of DLG Service GmbH more targeted and therefore more effective.

3. Facebook remarketing / retargeting

Remarketing tags of the social network Facebook (1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) are integrated into the pages of our website. When you visit our website, these remarketing tags establish a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. This informs Facebook of your visit to our site together with your IP address. Facebook is then able to assign this visit to your user account. We subsequently use the information thus obtained for the display of Facebook Ads. We wish to point out that we, as providers of the site, have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or of its use by Facebook.
