Special „Digital Animal Farming“ (Hall 26) Management. Animal health. Food Safety.

Together with partners from industry, science and consulting, DLG will be presenting a special "Digital Animal Farming" at EuroTier 2018 in Hanover on the importance of digitalisation for modern livestock farming.

In the context of this special show, animal species across the board will deal with questions of digitisation of production processes in the barn and on the farm. Whether in production monitoring, animal health and welfare, the nutrient balance or transparency to the customer: Through the use of sensors and targeted data management, the needs of animals, the environment, farmers and consumers can be equally taken into account.

By networking systems and technologies during operation, management can be simplified and errors can be avoided.

In Hall 26, exhibitors will present exhibits and explanations on animal husbandry in the digital age on a special area. Short lectures and discussion rounds are also planned in the forum.

Economic efficiency, animal health as well as transparency and quality in the processes are the key to long-term successful prospects in livestock farming.

An increasingly digitally networked world offers new possibilities to successfully combine productivity and animal welfare as well as information management and the sustainable use of natural resources. To achieve this, farmers need good know-how and efficiently networked technologies.
