Please use the recommended navigation system - NUNAV App
For cars:
- Simply download the NUNAV app to your mobile phone for free. Instead of an address, enter EuroTier.
For bus companies:
The NUNAV Bus app transmits traffic corridors and individual journey recommendations directly to bus companies. Every user of the NUNAV Bus app receives a personalised driving recommendation that is always coordinated with all other road users. This actively avoids traffic jams.
Travelling by plane
Hanover can be reached with scheduled and charter flights within Germany and from abroad. Information on this can also be found at www.hannover-airport.de. From Hanover Airport you can get to the Hanover Exhibition Ground by public transport or the EuroTier shuttle service.
With suburban railway line S5 to Hanover main station (travel time approx. 15 minutes). Where to change alternatively to:
- Subway/tram line U8 or U18 (trade fair/north), travel time approx. 20 minutes or
- Suburban railway line S4 or regional trains (Hannover Messe / Laatzen, West 1)
Alternatively, an exclusive EuroTier shuttle service will be available throughout the trade fair period for EUR 25 each way. The shuttle bus, which is not bound to a schedule, will run as required. Information on the shuttle bus can be found at Hanover Airport in the arrivals area of all three terminals and at the trade fair grounds in the West 1 entrance area. For further information and bookings, see: www.bfmhaj.com/messeshuttle
Visa information
- A visitor visa for attending the trade show should be applied for no earlier than six months and no later than four weeks before the start of your journey. However, in many cases, the responsible German embassy or consulate will take longer than four weeks to process the application and issue a visa. Please plan accordingly.
- Information on the visa procedure, requirements for issuance, visa fees, and application forms can be found on the website of the Federal Foreign Office as well as on the websites of the respective embassies and consulates in your home country.
- Since 2013, the Federal Foreign Office has informed visa offices of German embassies and consulates worldwide that, in general, no invitation letter from the trade fair organizer is required to apply for a trade fair visa for both visitors and exhibitors (see: AUMA website). Please refer to this information when applying for your visa, if necessary.
- DLG Service GmbH, as the organizer of the trade fair, assumes no legal and/or financial responsibility in connection with your visit to the fair. For this reason, general invitation letters from the trade fair organizer are usually not helpful. This is in contrast to business trips, for which a specific German business partner might coordinate and finance your trip.
- Exhibitors usually require a confirmation of their paid stand registration instead of an invitation letter, and in many cases they also do not have to pay the visa fee (see website of the Federal Foreign Office).
