Philippine Hour: Strengthening Agricultural Innovation and Partnerships between the Philippines and Germany

The Philippine Department of Agriculture will be represented at EuroTier 2024, supported by the Export Promotion Division of Germany’s Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture (BMEL). This high-level delegation underscores the importance of international collaboration in driving agricultural innovation and sustainability. With backing from the BMEL, this seminar will facilitate discussions on strengthening partnerships between the Philippines and Europe, focusing on exchanging knowledge, research, and technological advancements in agriculture.

Objectives:

  • To highlight innovations in Philippine agriculture, particularly in livestock management and mechanization, and discuss their impact on sustainability and productivity.
  • To explore partnership opportunities between the Philippines, Germany, and Europe in areas such as research, trade, and technological advancements.
  • To foster dialogue between Philippine agricultural leaders and European stakeholders, paving the way for collaborative efforts to enhance agricultural practices and market access in both regions.
